The Little Giant 9SC-CIM 4/10 HP, 6000 GPH sewage and effluent pump is a dependable companion in residential sewage and effluent wastewater removal. The 9SC-CIM handles solids up to 2-inches in diameter. This is a manual pump and is designed to work with an auxiliary piggyback switch (not included). This pump features a 20-ft. power cord and energy-efficient PSC motor drawing 8 Amps/870 Watts. This is a 115-volt pump and comes with a 3-prong plug.This pump is equipped with an air bleed hole which prevents the pump from being airlocked and allowing trapped air to escape. A large volume of water will spray from the pump. The pump is NOT DEFECTIVE. This is normal operation and does not affect the performance of the pump.
