This is a kickplate that can be ordered with countersunk holes for an additional charge. It is certified according to EPD, NFPA 80 Standards 6.4.5 Protection Plates, and ANSI A156.6 for J101 Metal Armor Plate, J102 Metal Kickplate, and J103 Metal Mop Plate. Factory installed plates must be installed as per the door's listing, while field installed plates should be labeled and installed according to their listing. Labeling is not required if the top of the plate is not more than 16 inches above the door's bottom.
