A fun, antique Massachusetts souvenir sewing needle case from the Victorian Era! The Mauchline Ware needle case. The Bunker Hill Monument image is incredibly detailed. The worn and used interior is lined with its original fabric and a white wool fabric to store sewing needles (included). The spine of the case is made of velvet. The case measures 3 5/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. In good antique condition.
Mauchline Ware was produced in Scotland using sycamore wood with highly detailed transfers. The company produced the wares from 1850 until 1933. Wonderful souvenir of Charlestown, Massachusetts.
